The Rivale has a length of around 53 feet and a generous beam of 15 feet. Conforming to the convention, the hull has a 16-degree deadrise, a deep-V profile, spray rails, and a raking bow. Semi-tunnels are utilized to transport propellers, which help lower the draft and give a more efficient shaft angle. The rudders are concealed within the tunnels, and the trim tabs are recessed, so nothing obstructs the lines. Above the waterline, the convention is discarded. The Rivale’s high topsides end with a strong curve into the deck, then continue on and over the coachroof. Air intakes are scalloped into the topsides, while the side ports and windows are concealed behind a smoked-glass panel to create a clean, contrasting line.
