Andrea Carlevaris

Andrea Carlevaris has a background in marine engineering onboard large cruise ships and extensive experience on board superyachts – both motor and sailing.

Since 2013, Andrea has been a Full Member of the International Institute of Marine Surveying (MIIMS).

In 2015, Andrea achieved the Registered Marine Coating Inspector  (RMCI) qualification and was amongst the first surveyors to be awarded with this qualification delivered by the Marine Surveying Academy.

A former chief engineer and highly qualified professional with decades of experience in yachting, commercial, and military shipbuilding, Andrea works with passion and integrity to provide clients with objective, impartial and independent advice on technical matters.

Thanks to his managerial and organizational talents, Andrea has created a team of experts with practical experience, professional training, and excellent communication skills.

Andrea is a registered surveyor at the Chamber of Commerce of Pisa, a hull and inspection damage and repair certified expert by Lloyd’s Register, a certified ISM Lead Auditor by Lloyd’s Registers, an MCA Class 1 chief engineer III/2. Unlimited, Italian Master for “pleasure ships” license (>24m) Unlimited.

Davide Lucignano

Naval architect (University of Genova)  FROSIO coating and anti-corrosion inspector and Full Member of the International Institute of Marine Surveying (MIIMS), Davide Lucignano joined ACP SURVEYORS in 2009 after having worked onboard military ships as a deck/navigation officer and at Intermarine Shipyard where his contribution as naval architect in the technical department for military vessels was highly regarded.

At ACP SURVEYORS, Davide is involved in new build and refit surveys as project manager and marine surveyor. Since 2014, he has been a registered marine surveyor at the Italian Chamber of Commerce.

Qualified industrial technician specializing in IT, Simone joined ACP SURVEYORS in September 2014 after six years at High Tech Diesel Solutions, an official dealer of MTU engines. Gaia Pagni Da Granaiola

Naval architect & marine engineer, Gaia graduated from the University of Genova, she is a 1st level Interior Designer, and she joined ACP SURVEYORS in 2016.

After graduation, she gained a significant amount of experience working as a Naval Architect – Engineer for a ships’ design and engineering firm. Gaia was involved in the development of various sections of new build passenger ships while assuring that the SOLAS rules compliance of the new projects was achieved. She was also responsible for the preliminary stability calculations for the said projects. Her excellent personality and multiple skills rapidly awarded her with management and responsibility of the projects she was involved with.

Gaia is very versatile and while she gives her best with Project Managing New Builds & Refits she is also well experienced, and a true asset, when it comes to performing Surveys.

Graduated with a Master’s degree in Naval Architecture and Marine Engineering from the university of Genova, Gaspare has joined ACP SURVEYORS bringing with him his extensive experience gathered in the commercial maritime industry.

Having previously worked as a part of the technical and engineering office of a large commercial maritime company, he has gathered extensive knowledge with energy saving solutions, identification of new technology for efficiency improvements and trend forecasting. He is also well versed in Flag state & Class regulations.

Transitioning from the commercial world into yacht surveying and new build projects was a very swift move for Gaspare as the size and complexity of the projects ACP SURVEYORS is now dealing with is constantly increasing.

Valeria Ribaldi

Valeria is a skilled naval architect & marine engineer and surveyor with extensive knowledge, built thanks to her experience working for a Classification Society and a Flag Registry.She is an Associate Member of the International Institute of Marine Surveying (AssocIIMS), specialised in Flag State Inspections – State or Government Surveys.
Over the past years she has acquired several experiences working in different shipyards as a supervisor and as fleet manager when employed by the Flag Registry.
Valeria has an in-depth knowledge of rules and regulations, linked to certifications, registrations, validations, and all other matters related to compliance with legal regulations. She is therefore highly appreciated by Captains and Owners.

A very competent naval architect and marine engineer, Carlo has over a decade of experience in the maritime industry. He is well versed in yacht repairs but stands out because of his experience with commercial offshore vessels combined with years spent as a technical manager of a fleet of tugs.

Emiliano Michelotti

Emiliano started his career in the aviation industry, he then joined the Italian Navy and became a talented engineering officer. During his career he served as a chief engineer for an extended time, and worked for one of the most important mega-yacht shipyards in the world.
For over 10 years, he managed the delivery of several projects and was part of the team responsible for the trade in yachts, which gives him a deep understanding of process and product.
Although Emiliano is well-versed in all aspects of megayachts, engineering is where his strengths lie. As a supervisor of the production of safety, antipollution and propulsion marine equipment during his previous experiences, he has an extensive knowledge in these remarkable aspects.
